Our Purpose
Better Life Ministries exists to evangelize the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, make disciples, strengthen and develop healthy churches, and equip leaders to serve Him faithfully.
Better Life Ministries’ primary mission is to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ throughout the world. We proclaim that eternal life is available to all who believe Christ’s promise (John 3:16), that believers who abide in His commands will know the truth and be set free (John 8:30–32), and that Christ will return to establish His kingdom (Matthew 24:30).
Although Better Life Ministries is committed to sharing the good news of Jesus with anyone who will listen, we are especially focused on areas where sharing God’s word has been subdued or even prevented.
Better Life Ministries also distributes humanitarian aid while sharing Jesus’ message. Including:
- Basic food and clean water
- Clothing
- Ministering to and freeing brick kiln slaves in Pakistan
Who We Are
Better Life Ministries is a Christ-centered evangelical organization dedicated to spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ to every corner of the world. Through teaching, equipping local leaders, and delivering humanitarian aid, we reach the lost, the persecuted, and the forgotten.
We believe that eternal life is available to anyone who believes in Christ’s promise (John 3:16; 5:24; 6:47). We are especially called to areas where the Gospel has been suppressed or silenced — including regions where believers face active persecution for their faith.
Our ministry is led by Stephen Walkup, who personally trains pastors, evangelists, and community leaders through weekly Zoom Bible teachings translated into Urdu, Swahili, Telugu, Kannada, Arabic, Bemba, and Kaonde — reaching believers across India, Kenya, Pakistan, Zambia, Egypt, and Uganda every week.
